Welcome to Tap on Tap
Tap on Tap – we love tap dancing! Tap on Tap run monthly tap dance evenings, classes and workshops and perform at a variety of events in the South East of England.
Monthly Tap on Tap evenings
Tap dancing in the pub. Our monthly Tap on Tap evenings at Blackmarket VIP in Hastings are a community based adults tap dancing evening for dancers of all levels from complete beginners to advanced. Tap on Tap is born of a love of tap dancing. In line with tap’s historic roots Tap on Tap takes place in a bar rather than a dance studio and in jeans and t-shirts rather than in leotards and tights! It’s not about perfect dancers, costumes and slick routines. Come along and have fun with a supportive, welcoming and friendly bunch of people. We teach fun routines to great tunes.
Tap on Tap Performance
Our lead dancers welcome the opportunity to work with local musicians and singers, improvising to live music. Our Tap on Tap performance troupe bring style and energy to any event. We keep the history of tap dance alive by performing historic tap dances such as the Shim Sham, the BS Chorus, and the Coles Stroll alongside our original choreography. Members of our troupe have performed in cabaret at Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am and The Private Widdle Club, alongside many other local events. Get in touch to book Tap on Tap for your event.
