‘Are you still going?’

Yes we are!

As soon as the adult dance restrictions that were part of lockdown were lifted (May 2021) we rushed back to the studio and to our wonderful tap dancers and we have been tapping away ever since, including a very special performance at the wedding of one of our dancers.

We currently teach three classes on a Friday and we are excited to be adding a brand new weekly beginners class to our schedule from 1 February 2023. We had some great Tap on Tap sessions last year at venues in Hastings old town, and on the St Leonards seafront. It was so good to be back. Sadly, the venues were unable to accommodate us longer term. Our search for a new venue for our monthly socials continues. We have a site visit planned this weekend, so fingers crossed we will have some good news shortly.

In December, we got in the Christmas spirit with our end of term celebration and tap flash mob at The Albion in Hastings old town, dancing to a Louis Armstrong festive favourite.

Our performance group had a ball seeing the new year in at the Cabaret-themed Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am at Printworks, Hastings.

We are looking for more opportunities to perform in 2023 so let us know if we can bring the joy of tap to your event.
