Happy Birthday to us!  And now we are two… Come along and celebrate our second birthday and two fabulous years of Tap on Tap at our monthly tap social in the heart of Hastings Old Town. We have live music from the multi-instrumentalist tap dancing wonder that is Rufus Stone, giving you a rare opportunity to tap dance along to a live band. We will be learning routines to The Mess Around (Ray Charles) and Will it Go Round in Circles (Billy Preston), plus we’ll throw in the usual rhythmic response with the fabulous Richmond Stockwell on Drums, and some call and response to tracks from The Meters and Charles Wright.  We’re adding in a very gentle and not-at-all-scary-we-promise introduction to improvisation for good measure (well it is our birthday…). Helen is just back from Stockholm Tap Festival and brimming with exciting new things to show you. This is going to be awesome! See you there from 7pm. £5 on the door.
